About Us
Building and renovation have always been a part of my life. My father was a builder and roofer, and as a child, I would spend my Saturdays helping him out, earning pocket money, and learning the trade. This hands on experience sparked my passion for construction and set the foundation for my career.
After leaving school, I joined my father’s Brighton based building business, where I gained valuable skills and firsthand industry experience. Over the years, I worked in various roles, including site supervisor for a loft conversion company, site manager for a large London based construction firm, and an installer for a well known conservatory company.
I also took on the challenge of renovating two of my own homes, which deepened my knowledge and expertise in all areas of home improvement. These experiences inspired me to take the next step in my journey, and in 2022, I founded Better Handyman and Home Improvements, based in Broadwater, Worthing.
As a small, family run business, I take great pride in being honest, reliable, and hardworking. I believe clear communication is key, and I keep my clients informed every step of the way no matter the size of the job.
